Who is responsible
KRAEVN Games is the data controller for personal data processed through Warp Racers: Cosmic Lanes and decides how and why it is used.
What we collect and why
- Game progress (ships, credits, shards, sectors, commander name, settings) — to provide the game. Guests: stored on your device only.
- Account data (email address, sign-in identifier) if you sign in with Google — to create your account and sync your save across devices.
- Purchase records (what you bought, transaction ID) — to deliver items to your wallet and handle support.
- Support messages you email us — to answer you.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing bugs.
Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you (running the game, syncing saves, delivering purchases), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the game), to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and with your consent where required.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, or Google Play. We never see or store your card details.
AI race coach
After a race, anonymous race statistics (sector, finish place, score, time, near-misses and ship name) are sent to an AI service only to generate short coaching tips. No name, email or account identifier is included, and these stats are not stored by us.
Device sensors
Tilt steering uses your phone's motion sensor only while racing. This data never leaves your device.
Who we share data with
- Service providers who host our backend, sign-in and AI coach.
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) for selling products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your data and do not use third-party advertising trackers. Some providers may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Account and cloud save data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 8 years). Technical logs are kept up to 90 days. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-user access rules so only you can read or change your save.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within one month.
Cookies and storage
We only use essential browser storage to keep your save, sign-in session and settings. No analytics or marketing cookies.
Deleting your data
Clear the app's storage to remove local saves. To delete your account and cloud save, email kraevnstudios@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will erase it within 30 days.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
